9/15/07 Jane Fleck appointed to Producers Guild documentary & reality steering committe

No doubt about it -- peer groups rule. The PGA is remarkable not only for the famous members but also for its rank and file who live by the credo "...get the job done."

Jane was invited to join the original PGA and has served on several committees during her tenure. The annual PGA awards are still the single most accurate predictor of Oscar winners. At a recent PGA awards banquet it was sobering to look out over the celebrity-filled, black tie audience and realize that three quarters of our fellow producers had all put up their house at least once to get a picture made. Producing is not a career choice for the faint of heart or undecided.
